A real account allows eligible users to participate in live financial-market trading using real funds, subject to the applicable account terms, market conditions and risks. It is the point at which everything practised on a demo account meets an environment that does not forgive inattention.

The mechanics are identical to what you already know, which is the advantage of having practised: the same charts, the same order ticket, the same account view. What changes is you. The same setup feels different when the numbers are real, and traders consistently find that the first live month tests temperament rather than technique. Reducing size for that period is the single most useful adjustment most people make.

Two things are worth settling before the first order. First, how much you are willing to lose on a single trade, written down rather than decided in the moment. Second, what you will do when a position goes against you, because that decision made in advance is far better than one made while watching a loss grow.

Risk here is genuine. Trading carries a real risk of loss, market conditions vary, and outcomes depend on spreads, execution and your own discipline as much as on analysis.
