A Software Provider
Alternative for Brokers.
Looking for an alternative to your current trading software provider? TM9 is a trading platform that brokers licence as one stack: client terminals, desk tools and the servers behind them.
Three licence tiers for 1,000 to 100,000 real accounts. The same software in every tier, with pricing confirmed on a short call.
Why Do Brokers Look for an Alternative Software Provider?
Most brokers who start looking are not unhappy with trading itself. They want clearer costs, more say over their setup and a vendor that answers. These are the four reasons we hear most.
Costs you can plan
When every add-on carries its own fee, the true cost of running the platform is hard to see. A licence sized by the number of real accounts you carry is easier to budget for.
Control over your setup
Brokers want to choose which liquidity, payment and reporting systems they connect, rather than taking a fixed bundle that includes connections they never use.
A better client experience
Traders now expect one account on phone, web and desktop, with the same charts and orders on each. A dated or limited client app shows up in retention.
A vendor that answers
When something goes wrong on the desk, you want to reach the people who build the software, not a queue. That matters most in the first months after a switch.
What Does TM9 Give Your Brokerage?
One licence covers the whole stack. Every tier ships the same software; what changes is account volume and how many trade servers carry the flow.
For your traders

- 21 timeframes, more than 80 indicators and up to 100 charts open.

What Should You Ask Any Platform Provider?
Put the same seven questions to every provider on your shortlist, including us. The answers tell you more than a feature list.
| Question | Why it matters | TM9’s answer |
|---|---|---|
| What is included in the base licence? | Hidden add-ons change the real cost. | Five terminals and four servers in every tier. Only gateways are added separately. |
| How is pricing set? | You need a number you can plan around. | Scoped on a short call against your account volume, gateways and rollout plan. |
| Can I connect my own liquidity, payments and reporting? | Your business already runs on these systems. | Yes, through gateway integrations, ordered to match your setup. |
| Which devices do my clients get? | Traders move between phone, web and desktop. | Android, iOS, web and desktop, on one account. |
| How do I grow without switching again? | Moving platforms twice is expensive. | Move from Standard (1,000 accounts) to Business (25,000) or Express (100,000, four trade servers). |
| Can my own systems talk to the platform? | Back-office tools need data in and out. | A REST API covers accounts, transactions, positions, funds and groups. |
| Who holds client money? | Regulators and clients will ask. | Your brokerage does. TM9 never holds, receives or has access to client funds. |
How Does Switching to TM9 Work?
A platform move is a project, not a download. This is the order most brokers work through it.
- Scope it on a call. Bring three numbers: the real accounts you expect in year one, the gateways you need and your target launch date. Those decide the tier and the price.
- Choose your tier and gateways. Standard, Business or Express, plus the connections to your liquidity, payment and reporting systems.
- Set up and configure. Your team configures environments and servers in the Administrator Terminal and sets up the desk in the Manager Terminal.
- Test before you go live. Run the platform on demo accounts with your own team first, so the desk knows it before clients arrive.
- Move clients in stages. Ask on the call about moving accounts and trading history. What is possible depends on what your current provider lets you export.
Switching Provider: Common Questions.
Short answers to what brokers ask first when they compare TM9 with their current setup.
Is TM9 a broker, or only the software?
Only the software. TM9 is a software development company. You bring the regulatory licence, the client relationships, the liquidity and the funding rails; TM9 supplies the terminals, the servers and the administration around them. TM9 never holds client funds.
Does TM9 publish its licence prices?
No. Pricing depends on your account volume, the gateways you need and your rollout plan, so it is confirmed on a short call rather than published as a list price.
Can a broker start small and move up a tier later?
Yes. Coming from another provider, you can start on Standard with room for 1,000 real accounts, then move up to Business at 25,000 or Express at 100,000 with four trade servers, without changing platform again. Every tier runs the same software, and gateways can be added as the business grows without changing your terminal set.
Do my clients pay to use the TM9 app?
No. The TM9 app is free for traders on Android, iOS, the web and the desktop. Brokers licence the platform behind it.
