Sometimes installing a trading mobile app for operations in the Forex and exchange markets simply is not possible — a locked-down work computer, a borrowed laptop, a machine that is not yours to change. The Web Platform covers exactly that case: trading from any browser and any operating system, Windows, Mac or Linux, with nothing to download.

It is not a stripped-back viewer. You can analyse markets and place orders, with the rich functionality of Trade Master 9 available through the browser. All that is required is an internet connection, and you are trading from any device in a couple of clicks, on the same account, with the same watchlists and the same open positions as the terminal you usually use.

Because it is the same account, the handover is invisible: a position opened in the browser at lunchtime is waiting in the phone app on the way home, with the same stop and the same history attached. For brokers, this is the shortest distance between a new client and their first trade. Signing up and trading in one session, before any decision about which app to install, removes the most common point at which prospective clients drift away. For traders, it is the option that means travel, a broken laptop or an unfamiliar office never becomes a reason to be locked out of an open position.

One sensible limit: for automated strategies that must run continuously, the desktop terminal remains the better host, since a browser session lives and dies with the tab and the connection in front of it. For manual trading, analysis and account checks, the web platform is equivalent.
