For funds

A Platform for Hedge Funds.

Three people look at a fund's platform and want different things from it. The principals want to know what they are licensing. The manager wants a desk to work from. The investor wants to see what is happening to their money. TM9 ships a separate terminal for each, in every licence tier.

Three seats

One Platform, Three Views of It.

The terminals are deliberately separate, which is the point: your desk gets the controls it needs and your investors never see them. Every item below is included in Standard, Business and Express — the tiers differ in scale rather than capability, so a small fund and a large one run the same software.

The owner's seat

What the fund licenses, and who configures it.

  • Licence tiers Standard, Business or Express, chosen by the number of real accounts you expect to carry.
  • Administrator Terminal Where the platform itself is configured, by your platform team rather than your traders.
  • Server set Trade, History, Access and Backup servers in every tier; four Trade Servers in Express.
  • Gateways The connections into your liquidity and exchange systems, added upon order in any tier.

The manager's seat

What the desk works from, all day.

  • Manager Terminal For staff who watch flow and manage client accounts rather than trade a personal book.
  • Client Desktop Terminal The full trading workstation, for managers who trade the book themselves.
  • Algorithmic trading A full development environment for building and optimising robots, plus ready-made ones.
  • Economic calendar Scheduled releases in the terminal, so the desk is not reading them somewhere else.

The investor's seat

What the money sees. Free to them, on every device.

  • Mobile terminal Full trading on Android and iOS, with indicators, account monitoring and history.
  • Web terminal Any browser, any operating system, nothing to install.
  • Copy trading Allocate to a manager with a risk cap, after reviewing audited history and live P&L.
  • Deposits and withdrawals How funding appears to an investor inside the terminal.
Questions

Funds on TM9: Asked & Answered.

Does TM9 manage money or act as a broker?

No. TM9 is a software development company and does not provide investment or brokerage services. The licence covers the platform; the regulatory permissions, client relationships and funding rails stay with the business running it.

How do investors follow a manager's trades?

Through copy trading, which is built into the platform rather than bolted on. An investor browses a leaderboard of verified traders, reviews the full audited history and risk profile, sees open trades and live P&L before allocating anything, then allocates an amount with a risk cap per signal.

What does the desk work in?

The Manager Terminal, which ships with every licence tier rather than being sold as an upgrade. It is built for staff who need to watch flow and manage client accounts rather than trade a personal book, and its capabilities are the same whether the platform serves a thousand accounts or a hundred thousand.

Can the fund automate its strategies?

Yes, if the strategy is genuinely rule-based. The platform provides a full development environment for building and optimising trading robots, and thousands of ready-made applications are available in the free tools library. A robot can only trade rules, so a strategy that depends on reading the situation in the moment will reproduce the mechanics and lose the judgement.

Which licence tier does a fund need?

Pick by the number of real accounts you expect to carry. Standard covers 1,000 real accounts, Business 25,000, and Express 100,000 with four Trade Servers. Every tier includes the same five terminals and the History, Access and Backup servers, so the choice is about scale rather than features.

How is pricing set?

On a short call rather than as a published list price, because it depends on your account volume, the gateways you need and your rollout plan. Arriving with those three answers usually settles it in one conversation.

Do investors pay for the terminals?

No. The client mobile, web and desktop terminals are free to the people using them. The fund licenses the platform; the terminals are what it puts in front of its investors.
